The refurbishment of Jackson Hall for Hastings Borough Council was recently completed and is now available for use by Hastings Voluntary Action. Originally constructed as a school in 1896, this building will now provide the necessary office space, meeting rooms and communal facilities, to support and administer grants for local voluntary initiatives and community groups.

On behalf of London & Quadrant Housing Trust we acted as Employer's Agent to oversee the new build construction of 237 affordable housing units on this brownfield development site.
Using renewable energy, the flats receive their hot water and under-floor heating from deep-bore, open-loop, geothermal heat pumps. The scheme also supports a number of valuable ecosystems and mitigates the risk of local habitat loss, through innovative bio-diverse roofing technology.

Work on site has now started on the conversion of several Coast & Country community centres, for which we undertook the design, prepared Schedules of Work, and obtained planning permission and Building Regulation approvals.
We originally carried out feasibility studies for the conversion of 21 centres into residential units, recommending the conversion of 13, with alternative proposals for the remaining eight, ranging from outright sale to new-build redevelopment.

We are pleased to be supporting Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity as our nominated charity for this year.
Great Ormond Street Hospital treats children with the rarest, most complex and life-threatening conditions, and is a world-renowned centre of research and excellence in the provision of children's healthcare.
All monies we are able to raise will fund state-of-the-art equipment, pioneering research, the provision of more beds for parents, and the redevelopment of two thirds of the hospital.
