Brighton Hill

We have been appointed as Employer's Agents and CDM Coordinators for the development of a 64 apartment Extra Care facility on the former Beechdown School site in Brighton Hill, Basingstoke. This follows the successful delivery of a similar Extra Care scheme for Saxon Weald Homes Ltd at Rosebrook Court in Southampton.

The £9 million project, which includes an additional specialist Social Care Day Centre for those in the early stages of dementia, is now on site and progressing well with the support of Hampshire County Council and Castleoak Care Partnerships.

States of Guernsey

Faithorn Farrell Timms is retained by States of Guernsey to undertake strategic property surveys across a diverse range of premises. We are working in partnership with our client to survey a selection of 3,000 properties including offices, warehouses, agricultural buildings, churches, museums, military fortifications, educational establishments, utilities buildings and public open spaces

We are collecting property attribute and condition information on state of the art tablet PCs employing bespoke survey software, which is linked to the established Digimap GIS aerial mapping software, used extensively on the island for property asset management purposes.

Coast & Country Housing Ltd

As part of a commission to provide strategic asset management consultancy advice we identified an opportunity to gather condition and attribute information for our client's portfolio of 1,500 garages on 99 sites on Teesside. This will be particularly useful in identifying future maintenance costs, and informing decision making about potential refurbishment and redevelopment options.

Source Consortium Consultants Framework

The Practice has been included in the Source Consortium Consultant Framework for Employer's Agent services in the Dorset, Hampshire and Isle of Wight regions. This follows a successful pre-qualification and tendering process. This work will be managed by Neil Chapillon , a Partner in our Yeovil office, who will continue to build on our success in the South West with this and other valued clients.

OJEU Procurement

Faithorn Farrell Timms has been appointed to provide procurement services on behalf of Eastbourne Homes Ltd for the appointment of specialist consultants to provide strategic management and professional services in health and safety, legionella, asbestos and fire safety.

We have also been appointed by Worthing Homes Ltd to manage the procurement of contractors to deliver kitchen and bathroom replacements and electrical upgrade works under a 10 year TPC 2005 (Amended 2008) Form of Contract.

The Practice has also been commissioned by the London & Quadrant Housing Group to manage the procurement of a group-wide cyclical redecoration contract on a similar basis.
