Faithorn Farrell Timms and its business partners Worthing Homes, Rydon Group, and the University of Brighton, are pleased to have won the award of Energy Saving Initiative of the Year for their innovative Relish™ project in Worthing, West Sussex.
The ground-breaking Relish™ project monitored the energy usage over 12 months of four households with different levels of energy-saving materials, technology, and information; the project aims to develop in the future a household energy rating score and certificate, tailored specifically to the occupants' behaviour and use of energy in the home.

As Employer's Agent and CDM Coordinator for this Code for Sustainable Homes Exemplar project on behalf of our client, Radian Housing Group, we are pleased to have received planning permission for the largest Code for Sustainable Homes Level 6 scheme in the UK, and it has now been put out to tender.
Councillor Peter Baillie, Southampton City Council's Cabinet Member for Housing, announced: "These future homes will have much better insulation and lower heat losses and with the vastly improved use of green technologies they will be more sustainable in the widest sense as well as easier to maintain and cheaper to run in the long-term."

We were recently appointed by the South East Consortium to re-procure their internal and external refurbishment framework. The framework will provide contractors for: kitchens and bathrooms; doors and windows; roofing; electrical improvement; structural repairs and cyclical works; and major refurbishment works for all 17 members of the South East Consortium across London, Kent and Sussex. We will have contractors in place by October 2011.

On the evening of Wednesday 20th October 2010, eight teams of contractors and clients took part in a 5-a-side football tournament at Eltham Goals to raise money in aid of our nominated charity for this year.
The competition was won by PHB Construction, who beat AD Construction Group in the final.
We are most grateful for the kind and generous donations of our clients and contractors, which have raised over £1,600 for this worthy cause.
We thank the participants for their enthusiasm and generosity, and Eltham Goals for their hospitality.
