In collaboration with our project partners, Worthing Homes and Rydon, we launched the Relish project at the National Housing Maintenance Forum at Stratford-upon-Avon in January 2010.
Our objective is to demonstrate the effectiveness of low-cost retrofit improvement works, coupled with training and support to modify occupational behaviour, in reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions in occupied homes.
The initial 12 month pilot study continues to enjoy the support of Constructing Excellence as an 'Innovation in Practice' project and has attracted interest from the Homes and Communities Agency, social housing landlords and Members of Parliament.
We would encourage you to visit the project website and register your interest:

Faithorn Farrell Timms provides OJEU contract procurement services on behalf of many of its clients in support of their requirement to comply with EU legislation.
The EU Remedies Directive 2007, introduced on 20th December 2009, has substantially amended the existing regime contained in the Public Contracts Regulations 2006, which governs the remedies open to bidders in the event of a breach of the Regulations by a contracting authority, and specifically seeks to harmonise the standstill arrangements following contract award.
We have already been appointed by a number of clients to steer them through the pitfalls of this new legislation and have a team of experienced consultants available to assist others who may also be seeking to ensure compliance.

Faithorn Farrell Timms has been commissioned by Network Housing Group to undertake the refurbishment of the landmark Middlesex House in Alperton.
The building is a 14 storey 1960's block originally constructed as an office but converted in 1990 into mainly residential use with some nursery and community facilities at ground floor level. We are instructed to increase the size of many of the units to include 3, 4 and 5 person dwellings, add additional units in the undercroft and to the first floor together with a new crèche at ground floor level.
